What is AmmoLots?
AmmoLots is a free tool for shooters to track ammunition performance and ballistics data. Record your range sessions, analyze velocity data, and track how different ammunition lots perform in your firearms.
Whether you're a precision rifle shooter looking to track lot-to-lot variance, or just want to keep records of your range sessions, AmmoLots provides a simple way to log and review your shooting data.
Early Access
AmmoLots is currently in early access. The database is still being populated with ammunition entries, and new features are being added regularly.
If you don't see your favorite ammunition in the database, you can add custom ammo entries for your own use, or submit a feature request to have it added to the main database.
How to Use AmmoLots
1. Create an Account
Sign up for a free account to start recording your range sessions.
2. Record a Range Session
After each range trip, create a new session with your chronograph data. Record average velocity, extreme spread, standard deviation, and group size. Add photos of targets or ammunition boxes for reference.
3. Track Your Data
View your session history to see how different ammunition performs in your firearms. Compare lot numbers, barrel configurations, and environmental conditions.
4. Browse Community Data
See what other shooters are recording in the public sessions feed. Find ammunition that performs well in similar firearms to yours.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is AmmoLots free?
Yes, AmmoLots is completely free to use. There are no premium tiers or paid features.
Can I make my sessions private?
Currently all sessions are visible to other users. We're considering adding private sessions in the future - submit a feature request if this is important to you.
My ammunition isn't in the database. What do I do?
You can add custom ammunition entries for your own use when creating a session. If you'd like it added to the main database for everyone, submit a feature request or contact support.
What chronographs are supported?
AmmoLots works with any chronograph - just enter your data manually. We have entries for popular chronographs like Garmin Xero, LabRadar, and MagnetoSpeed so you can track which device you used.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
